TTRSA has experience of software based swept path analysis, often called Autotrack Analysis. We routinely analyse the swept path requirements of a wide range of vehicles including: standard test vehicles; customised vehicles; and, vehicles carrying abnormal loads such as wind turbine components where analysis of swept path of both the vehicle and load is required. Because swept path analysis is required to validate the design process we provide a bureau type service with a rapid turnaround for architects, developers, engineering consultants and planning consultants. Our services include but aren't limited to:
- Swept path analysis of refuse vehicles and fire tenders for development site layouts;
- Swept path analysis for accesses onto National Roads in accordance with Transport Infrastructure Ireland standards DN-GEO-03031 (Rural Road Link Design) and DN-GEO-03060 (Geometric Design of Junctions);
- Swept path analysis for accesses onto urban roads in accordance with the Design Manual for Urban Roads and Streets (DMURS);
- Public transport swept path analysis including for bus and coach stations;
- Delivery vehicle swept path analysis for commercial developments;
- Swept path analysis of haulage routes for abnormal vehicles; and,
- Custom vehicle swept path analysis including specific agricultural, industrial and turbine component delivery vehicles.
